Federal Agencies Require Privacy Training for Contract Employees

In December, The Defense Department, the General Services Administration and the National Aeronautics and Space administration has made it a requirement for those contract employees who handle personally identifiable information to work with a system of records to complete privacy training. The training addresses the key elements for safeguarding personally identifiable information or a system of records. Contractors are responsible for ensuring that initial privacy training and annual privacy training thereafter is completed.
