Checkr has launched Checkr IDV, a biometric identity verification tool built with technology from Socure to help employers prevent hiring fraud. The system verifies candidate identities using facial biometrics, liveness detection, document analysis, and device intelligence. It can detect deepfakes, fake IDs, and suspicious network activity before background checks begin. By embedding verification directly in hiring workflows, Checkr aims to reduce fraud risks, save screening costs, and ensure applicants are who they claim to be.
