The investigation exposed thousands of fake nursing degrees issued without required training. Rene is among 172 Connecticut nurses under review, with 74 licenses already revoked or surrendered. She must prove her credentials’ legitimacy at a future hearing. Operation Nightingale has led to multiple indictments and convictions for large-scale nursing education fraud.
