A woman posed as a nurse, wrote fake prescriptions for diabetic children, and set up a “concierge diabetes program” in Las Vegas without licenses. Crystal Scott faces 50 felony charges, including 24 counts of possession of a bogus prescription for a dangerous drug, 12 counts each of acting as a nurse without a license and furnishing a dangerous drug to a minor, and two counts of obtaining and using personal information to harm or for an unlawful purpose. Scott provided medical consultations, wrote care orders, and caused insulin and other drugs to be furnished to at least 12 children.
