Employers using E-Verify must now rely on the new Status Change Report to identify employees with revoked
Employment Authorization Documents (EADs), replacing earlier Case Alerts. If a revoked EAD is listed, reverification
must be completed using Form I-9, Supplement B, within a reasonable timeframe. Employers cannot accept revoked
EADs, even if unexpired, and must follow anti-discrimination rules when requesting documentation. Noncompliance
may lead to unauthorized employment or legal risk.
