The California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) fined Todd Snyder, Inc. $345,178 for violating the California
Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The company failed to process consumer opt-out requests for 40 days due to improper
configuration of its privacy portal, required excessive personal information for privacy requests, and unnecessarily
mandated identity verification. As part of the settlement, Todd Snyder agreed to enhance its opt-out mechanisms and
provide CCPA compliance training to its employees.
