workers are legally authorized to work in the U.S. using the federal E-Verify system. The law, supported by bill
sponsors, aims to prevent illegal immigrants from working on public and nonresidential construction projects and
protect Ohio workers’ wages. It includes enforcement provisions and will affect contractors and subcontractors
